Tyson Torgersen
Dr. Tyson Torgersen is a Family Medicine physician dedicated to serving rural communities. He earned his medical degree from Rocky Vista University and completed his Family Medicine residency at Idaho State University. Board certified in Family Medicine, he also holds certifications in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). Originally from Escalante, Utah, he chose Rangely, Colorado, to work in a rural setting with a broad scope of practice and a safe environment for his children.
Dr. Torgersen emphasizes collaborative care, ensuring patients are involved in their healthcare decisions. He values building strong relationships and providing personalized, meaningful care. Outside of medicine, he enjoys hunting, fly fishing, and reloading ammunition, and finds relaxation in outdoor activities like cutting firewood and tying flies. Becoming a father is his greatest accomplishment, deepening his commitment to fostering a healthy, supportive community in Rangely.
