Colorado Northwestern Community College Clinic
Rangely Family Medicine is proud to partner with Colorado Northwestern Community College (CNCC) to provide students with access to a free walk-in clinic every Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. This clinic is designed to offer convenient and essential healthcare services tailored to the needs of busy students. Available services include flu and strep testing to diagnose and treat common illnesses, UTI and pregnancy testing to address personal health concerns, and select drug screenings. The clinic also provides blood pressure checks, monitoring a key aspect of overall health, and care for minor illnesses, ensuring students can quickly recover and maintain their academic focus. Additionally, A1c and glucose testing are available to support the early detection and management of diabetes, further emphasizing the clinic’s commitment to proactive, preventive care.
Beyond physical health, CNCC has expanded its commitment to student well-being through a partnership with Rangely District Hospital to offer behavioral health services. These services are available to students on both the Rangely and Craig campuses, reflecting the college’s dedication to inclusivity and accessibility. Utilizing telehealth technology, students can connect with qualified mental and behavioral health providers from the convenience of their location, eliminating barriers such as travel and scheduling conflicts. These sessions allow students to discuss a range of concerns, from stress and anxiety to more complex mental health challenges, with compassionate and professional support. Together, these initiatives demonstrate a shared mission to foster a healthy, thriving student body by addressing both physical and mental health needs.
