Rangely Emergency Medical Services
Based in Rangely, Colorado our Emergency Medical Services responds to emergent calls and provides interfacilty transports. Our 911 service area includes approximately 2,000 square miles in Rio Blanco County from the County Line near Dinosaur, half way to Meeker, and to the top of Douglas Pass, along Colorado Highways 64 and 139.
We maintain an unfaltering commitment to caring for the whole of the person we serve and to our community. Patient Service is our number one priority. We value and support all those who serve here in order to enable a successful and unified effort to create the hospital and health care center of choice. We strive to exceed customer and community expectations by committing ourselves to excellence and to the careful management of the resources entrusted to us.

Initial Courses: Emergency Medical Responder (EMR), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), and Advanced Emergency Medical technician (AEMT), IV Therapy, Basic EKG, 12-Lead EKG, PHTLS Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support, American Heart Association (AHA: Heart Saver, CPR/1st Aid, Health Care Provider)
Training Group (Continuing Education for Certification Requirements): EMR, EMT, Advanced EMT (AEMT), EMT- Intermediate, and Paramedic
