Ambulance - Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
Rangely District Hospital has an opening in the Ambulance Department for an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). This is a part-time position, working 20-29 hours per week + on-call schedule. Preference will be given to Advanced EMT certifications or above.
- Responds with the Ambulance to emergency calls. Responding to all EMS page-outs is a primary requirement of this position. While on duty or in the office, you will be required to respond to all page-outs. (When off duty and off call, you may respond as your availability allows.)
- Transfers patients to higher acuity hospitals as needed or transfers patients back to RDH.
- Shares on-call schedule for the department, taking seven days of call every third week.
Qualifications:
- Current Colorado EMT certification – preference will be given to Advanced EMT or higher.
- Valid CPR and/or CPR Instructor Certification.
- Current Colorado Driver’s License, Clean DMV record.

Position Type: Part-Time
Shift: 20-29 hours in office weekly + 7 days of on-call schedule every 3rd week.
Hourly Wage Range: $15.00 – 18.43
